THESIS
Charter schools are schools that receives government funding but operates independently of the established state school system in which it is located, and in some cases are privately owned. However, I believe charter schools should not be funding by federal state nor local government because there is no significant difference in the percentage in the achievement gap compared to regular public schools.
Topic Sentence 1: Charter schools operate outside school curriculum.
Topic Sentence 2: The ways teachers are being treated are unsatisfying.
Topic Sentence 3: They inconvenience other public schools causing them to be over crowded.
OPERATING OUTSIDE OF PUBLIC SCHOOLS CURRICULUM IS NOT NECESSARILY A BAD THING.

ReplyDelete-Charter school are those schools that are owned privately but the funding are provided by the federal to provide all the facilities to the students. Despite of being partially funded by the government these schools are run independently with any political involvement, which allow them to operate more strongly and also can fulfill all the requirements of the students, hence allowing students to focus on their achievements.
- Being run privately and funded by the government these school should be funded more because they are the combination of both facilities of government school and flexibility of private school.
- The school management has limited the class size to focus on every students in the class
Most importantly they have given freedom to the teachers think out of the box and make lesson plans and could incorporate other methods while teaching their students.
